SOUTH AMERICAN TERN: Sterna hirundinacea
 

    Inhabits sea coasts of Patagonia. In winter it was observed off the coast of the Province
Buenos Aires

       

It nests in the colony. Place the eggs directly into the soil, sand or rocky beaches.
The chicks have plumage mimetic.
