                 Smashes of Iberá

       Located in the North-Center of Corrientes, this area has an extension of 1,200,000 hectares where more than 24,000 were declared Ramsar area.

        This is a great flooded hollow, with smooth and small knolls that form small islands, smashes, lakes and weeds.
 

       










It has a template climate, with annual rainfalls between 1,300 and 1,500 mm     

       The way to the entrance of the preserved area is grassland area, with typical species which some of them are
       endangered species (Sporophila genus).

        This area is characterized not only for its diversity, but for its abundance and watching easiness.

       Moreover, the presence of unique species, like the Ochre-breasted Pipit we find others of restricted distribution,
       like the White-tipped Dove, the Saffron-cowled Blackbird, The Yellow Cardinal, Black-and-white Monjita, etc.
