PHOENICOPTERIDAE

 There are three species of flamingos in our country. Inhabit freshwater and brackish ponds. Flight with his neck stretched. The Beak is bent sharply downwards at an angle of almost 90 °. The neck and legs are long. Body small, Webbed feet. From pink.  

    Breeding colonies. The nest is built with mud and placed a single egg. They feed on small organisms that filter with its beak, adapted for this purpose.
