                Jungle and Falls

The province of Misiones, from the environmental point of view, is a continuation of the Paranaense Jungle. It has the greatest species diversity of Argentina, with approximately 500 bird species.

The half of the province is occupied by protected areas, with 77 natural reserves.

In the far northeast, you can find the amazing Iguazu Falls, cultural heritage of Humanity.

In the southeast we can watch the amazing “Saltos del Mocona”..

The center of the province is occupied by lower hil.

The general relief is undulating, with smooth and small knolls.

The subtropical climate, without dry season and annual rainfalls that reach 2,000 mm, allow us to do birdwatching all year.

This circuit can be also done in the south, in the Ibera Marshes and in the west the wetlands of Formosa Province or the impenetrable chaqueño.
