    ARAMIDAE

Family exclusive americas, with a single species living in Argentina. Blackish. Beak barely long curved. Neck and long legs. Wings wide and long, the fly carries separate primaries.

   It feeds on worms and snails. Nest in reeds and puts up to seven eggs. 


    RALLIDAE

    Crakes, Coots, Gallinules. Many families with 25 representatives in our country. They are waterfowl, dive, swim and run well, flying low. Alas short and rounded. Short-Cola who often carry upright. In some species, with "frontal shield".

    They feed on insects, larvae, seeds and shellfish. Nest in rushes.
