CREAM-WINGED CINCLODES: Cinclodes albiventris

    It inhabits the mountains in central and northern Argentina. Belly lighter than Cinclodes fuscus with the back and flanks cinnamon brown. Band wing apex cream and external rectrices cinnamon. Gray crown.

Originally it was considered a race of Cinclodes fuscus. Recent studies raise C.f. albiventris a full species and grouped all the races of the Central Andes (C.f.albiventris, C.f.tucumanus, C.f.riojanus, C.f.rufus and C.f.yzurietae) within this new species. (See proposal 415)

CREAM-WINGED CINCLODES: Cinclodes albiventris tucumanus

It inhabits the south-central Salta, Tucuman and San Juan. Similar to the monotypic species with more contrasting tones.
