CAYENNE TERN: Sterna eurygnatha

Inhabits sea coasts of Patagonia, may arrive in winter to the Buenos Aires province.

There are authors who see Sterna sandvicensis (Sandwich Tern) conespecíficos with S. eurygnatha, while others give priority to specific name on sandvicensis eurygnatha, including both as Sterna sandvicensis.
